The problem is that the most important stories we need, particularly now, are from refugees who are either too scared or don’t have any resources to publish their truth, directly from the frontlines.

Meanwhile we have thousands of writers and publishers around the world who are desperate to make a difference whether in their local community, or in refugee camps, but just don’t know how.

Writers Rising  is a membership platform that unites writers across borders to share skills and community.

Risen Writers is our publishing house which publishes refugee focused works from the idea to the page.
